I do not mean to bring up politics on here, and I rather stay away from them, but this must be heard. The other day during a pres conference held my our Commander and Chief, he forced a US Marine to hold an umbrella for him. Now usually this is not a big deal, usually he has a secret service member or a US Army-man hold it for him, but he forced a Marine to hold it. I use the word “forced” because it is against Marine regulations to hold an umbrella while in dress uniform. Now to some this will seam like no big deal, but it really is. Marines live by these rules, and will do anything to follow them and not brake them, but when you’re Commander and Chief “forces” a Marine to break these rules we have a problem. Again, I’m sorry to bring up politics, but this isn’t just something for Right Wings to get mad at the President for, it’s something that we all should be mad at him for. Just realize, Marines live by their rules day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, and as soon as those rules are broken, there is no longer anything to live by.

We choose what rules we follow.

It would seem the only people pissed off over the fact that the President “forced” the Marines to hold umbrellas are not Marines.
